Groove On

Like many of us, I’ve been feeling stressed and there’s just too much going on, which is why I haven’t written anything here for a week or so. However, sharing good vibes here makes me happy, so I’m going to come up with a list of things to groove on.

  1. While there are sooooo many scary and bad things happening in the world, there’s music. Just remember that there are songs to sing.
  2. There’s looking at things. No matter how busy we are, there’s usually something beautiful to be found. A sunset. A flower. A smile. And as soon as you count one thing, there’s often more. It just takes looking.
  3. There’s family. I did not win out on that one at the beginning, but little by little, I’ve hung on to the family that is worthwhile and added friends to that so that I feel a big boatload of love if I just think about it for a second. The wonders of our new, modern life is that I can instantly send a message to anyone at any time to tell them that they are special in my life. (Just sent a message as I was writing that. I instantly feel better!)

And there’s always Foro (him being a metaphor for whatever little mechanism you need in your life to encourage you to slow down, sing a song, smell the roses and call a friend.)

Foro, the groove captain!
