A Three Hour Tour

I left Thursday morning to go to work with all of my stuff for the weekend at my partner’s place….and now the country is in semi lock-down for the Coronavirus.

I feel like I’m on Gilligan’s Island, where they left for a three hour tour and spent years (or three TV seasons) on an “uncharted island”.

I brought what I need to work from home. I have enough clothes (although I’ll need to wash them soon!) and, of course, Foro.

I did work from home today, but technically I have Monday off. I also called my sister. I called my step-mom.

It is springtime. The weather is beautiful, and I get to spend more time with my partner. I made us lunch and dinner, and will do so again tomorrow.

I went for a long walk in the countryside, staying away from people but enjoying the birds, the flowers, the warm air.

I think that everyone will likely get sick with this thing, but at least with the lock-down, hopefully it won’t all be at once and our health system can handle it.
