More Love

In this moment of great sadness, I’m going to try my best to use this blog to send out more love and kindness in the world. We’re going to need it.

First, a story that made me laugh. A very young girl, maybe around 9 or 10, asked me if I wanted a “temporary tattoo” and I said, “Sure.” She asked me what I wanted. I said, “A rabbit” and her “temporary tattoo” was to draw a rabbit on the back of my hand. Except it really, really looked like a pair of balls and a penis. She asked me if I liked it and I squeaked out, “Yes, of course! Thank you!”

The second story involves a hawk. I woke up from a nap (I’ve had the flu or something) and this guy was staring at me.

He’s sitting on a fan, and I was reminded of how my grandfather would stand over a portable fan in the morning to unstick his underparts. I’m pretty sure this hawk was doing the same thing 😉 He’s quite beautiful and I was able to test out my newish binoculars on him.

And for more beauty I’m going to have to think about it.

Just a question for the general public; were you born knowing your friends? Probably not. You had to meet them at some point. At some point, they were strangers. On that principle along, try to remember that not all strangers are bad, and that some might wind up being your friends someday. All this hate of “others” and differences that brought a certain orange haired man back into power, it’s wrong. It’s categorically wrong.

So try to unstick your underparts and be kind to others.
