I have a whole other post on hold that I won’t use right away. I need to think about it. I’ve been thinking a lot about AI recently and I want to write something helpful, positive and informative. I’m not there yet and I don’t want to rush it.
So here’s just a quick Monday entry. Today I saw a fox, long before he saw me. He was running along then plopped himself down in a bit of snow, stood up, bounced around a bit then ran off into the forest. I tried to photograph him but it was really much too far away for my phone to capture.
It kind of made my day, though. I had some foot problems last year and I’ve been out of the habit of just walking a bit, from time to time, just to breathe in fresh air. I do other things — cross country skiing, swimming, hitting the gym sometimes — so I’m getting exercise, but I forgot how much I love walking and observing. I like the silence, even though my brain is filled with so many things at the moment.
Today there were crocuses and primaveras pushing their way up out of the last bits of snow. There were birds doing their full on “it’s spring!” singing. It was a bit grey but not so cold, and hardly any wind. Altogether it was a nice little promenade.

I’m going to stop there. I’m very, very sleepy but I don’t want to miss a Monday post! Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s day. Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh!!
